On September 4th 2018, les Facultés de l'Université Catholique de Lille organised an International Welcome Session for about 260 international students enrolled for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The session began with a group photo and a “Rally/Selfie” campus tour guided by local students.

After this, the international students attended a "regional cocktail," during which we noticed not only some lively conversation but also a strong demand for the traditional "gauffre du nord" and the delicious "sirop de violette" !

The International Welcome Session was an enriching intercultural event that gave our new international students an opportunity to see the campus and meet students from across the institution, and to talk about their home countries, their host faculties, their new adventure in Lille, and much more !
