A CAMPUS that is open to the world and to others

The international dimension is an integral part of the philosophy of Les Facultés de l'Université Catholique de Lille. Our aim is to encourage open-mindedness in our students and their  commitment to European citizenship. This policy includes extensive student mobility (academic exchanges and international internships) and hosting great numbers of international students via our International Relations department.

EUROPE DAY

Les Facultés de l’Université Catholique celebrate Europe Day every year through different activities: exhibitions, post-screening debate, podcast, photography competition, international student testimonies or the European Initiative Award.
For instance, the European Initiative Award highlighted ten European projects during a warm and friendly lunch. Les Facultés’ staff gathered around a buffet of European flavours and watched the video presentation of the various projects before voting for their favourite initiative.

What is Erasmus + ?

Erasmus+ is a European funding programme established in 1987, offering to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.

The Erasmus+ Programme is offering university students a possibility of studying or doing an internship abroad in another country.

Erasmus+ now offers the possibility to go way beyond the European borders as well (Japan, India, turkey, Azerbaijan, etc.)

Les Facultés de l'Université Catholique de Lille have obtained an Erasmus Charter that enables them to take part in the Erasmus + programme. This programme strengthens the quality and European dimension of higher education, increases the mobility of students and other members of universities, supports innovation and internationalisation in educational and training establishments and organisations, promotes cooperation between European and non-European countries, and promotes transparent, consistent use within Europe of competence measurement tools and systems.
