To apply for the first year medicine course, Political Science “prep” classes, the Faculty of Theology, the 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor programme, or a Master programme, you must first register with the website Etudes en France (https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/etudesenfrance/dyn/public/authentification/login.html) before applying to Les Facultés de l'Université Catholique de Lille

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE 

Les Facultés de l'Université Catholique de Lille has chosen LivinFrance to help you settle down in Lille.

STEP 1
CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT ON ETUDES EN FRANCE

First you must set up an account on the portal Etudes en France.

Step 1 – create an account (“personal information” section) : give the number of an identity document and your personal details. Upload a photograph and a scan of your identity document.

Step 2 – complete your CV : describe your education and/or professional experience. Detail your career plan and motivations. Upload any supporting documents.

Step 3 – select the study programmes that interest you in the menu “applications”

Check carefully and requirements mentioned in the descriptions of the programmes. Also, check that the programme corresponds to your project.

You may then send your application by clicking on “submit file.” Make sure the information you send is accurate, because you will not be able to change it later on.

Campus France will check your file and invite you to an interview if necessary.

 

NB

Log onto the portal regularly to check for our answer. You will have to undertake other procedures at the same time for the admissions phase (Steps 2-5) and if you are accepted for the registration phase (Steps 6-9). 

 

STEP 2
CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT ON “ESPACE ADMISSION”

The first step is to create your account on the website Espace Admission”.

When you create your account, make sure the email address you use is the one you use normally. If your application is accepted, you will use the same address for the registration phase. It will then be linked to your CATHO id no., enabling you to log onto the Agora student portal (courses, continuous assessment marks, timetables, etc.).

Once you have completed this first step, you will receive an email with your user name and password. NB: this message can arrive by mistake in your spam folder.

STEP 3
APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Log onto Espace Admission with your user name and password.
Your application consists of several sections :

  • My profile :
    Enter your personal details (civil status, contact information)
  • My applications :
    You may apply to several different departments and different disciplines. Select the departments and disciplines that you wish to apply for in the dropdown menu or using the search bar on the right of the screen. To add new applications, click on the bar “click to add a new application.”
  • My secondary education :
    In this section, enter your secondary school leaving certificate(s) (type of diploma, year, status, etc.).
  • My higher education :
    In this section, enter the programmes followed and degrees obtained in your higher education after leaving secondary school. Please check that this information is correct, and fill in your programmes and qualifications from the earliest to the most recent (e.g.: from secondary school leaving certificate to bachelor degree).
  • Summary and payment :
    This final step displays a summary of the applications you have made.

To finalise your applications, you must pay your application fees (€85 for the 15-16 academic year). If you apply for several programmes in the same department, you only have to pay your application fees once.

 

NB

After this step, you will not be able to modify your personal details.

 

STEP 4
CONFIRMATION OF APPLICATIONS AND CHECKING YOUR FILE

Once you have entered your details and paid your application fees, you will have access to your application form.

This form provides you with a summary of your application(s) in pdf format. You must print out the form, enclose the required supporting documents (listed on the form), and send it to the department concerned (address indicated on the form).

You have now completed your application! As soon as we receive your file, the selection process will be launched and you will be able to check the progress of your application(s) on line in the section “check your file.”

STEP 5
SELECTION PHASES

Some of Les Facultés de l'Université Catholique de Lille conduct a selection process for admission to some Bachelor 1, 2 and 3, Vocational Bachelor, Master & “Diplômes Universitaire” programme, based on your application form and/or an interview and/or a written and/or oral entrance exam.

Check the details of the selection processes on the sites of the departments concerned. 

STEP 6
LOG ON TO THE ESPACE ADMISSION

If your application has been accepted on Espace Admission, you may fill in the registration form on Espace Admission.

Your user name and password are identical to those you used for the application phase.

STEP 7
REGISTRATION FORM

Click on "Registration" and follow the different steps : 

  • Personal information and contact details
  • Details of your parents/referents
  • Social date
  • Previous qualifications : when we receive your most recent diploma or marksheet we can approve your registration academically.
  • Financial data
  • Quotation
  • Documents to upload
  • Send the form
USEFUL TIP
During the fisrt step, personal details, make sure that the email address is the one you use normally. This address will be linked to your Catho id no., enabling you to log on the Agora student portal (courses, timetable, etc)...

 

 

STEP 8
FINAL ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL REGISTRATION

Your registration request will be studied by our staff. You may follow the progress of your dossier direclty in the Espace admission, in the section "Suivi de dossier" or by email.

Once your dossier has been studied and approved, you will receive an email inviting you to finalise your registration by logging onto the section “Payer la scolarité.”
During this last phase you may choose your method of payment and print out your financial engagement contract.

When you have signed your financial engagement contract you should send it along with the other necessary documents (listed on the engagement contract) to the following address: SERVICE GESTION DES AFFAIRES ETUDIANTES, 60 bd Vauban, CS 40109, 59 016 Lille Cedex. 

USEFUL TIP

Your registration will only be definitively recorded when we receive your: 
- signed financial engagement contract
- Associated means of payment by cheque, direct debit (SEPA), or bank transfer (copy of the transfer order).

You will then have access to your student portal, on which you will find a copy of your invoice, the payment schedule, student attendance certificate, etc.

 

STEP 9
RECEIPT OF YOUR STUDENT CARD

Your student card will be sent by the Student Affairs Management Department, subject to the academic, administrative and financial approval of your registration.

If you have any questions, you may contact the central reception for Les Facultés de l'Université Catholique de Lille, located on the ground floor of the hôtel académique, 60 boulevard Vauban.

You will need your student card to access the library and borrow books, to sit exams, to log onto the various information services available to you and to obtain reductions in certain catering outlets and cinemas.

It also serves as an electronic multiservice card ! After loading it at a  top-up terminal (near the printing department on the ground floor of the Hôtel Académique), you can use it to make photocopies, prints and scans, and to pay for food and drinks from vending machines.
